The main task is to operate and develop properties and infrastructure in the industrial park. Mo Industripark AS is also the parent company of Rana Industriterminal AS (100%), Mo Fjernvarme AS (60%), and MIP Regnskapsservice AS, which is also 100% owned by MIP AS. Together, this constitutes the MIP group. MIP AS is owned by 6 companies associated with the industrial park. The largest owners are FESIL AS, Celsa Armeringsstål AS, and ROI Invest AS. Mo Industripark AS has organization number 914 780 152 VAT. Mo Industripark is one of the country's largest industrial parks, with approximately 108 companies and about 2340 employees. Strong competence environments and advanced infrastructure have laid the foundation for this, and through localization in the industrial park, resources can be better utilized and costs shared among many in a profitable community. There is still room for more companies in the industrial park, and as an infrastructure company, Mo Industripark AS can tailor good solutions for production and office spaces for almost any need. Mo Industripark experienced strong growth from around 2005 until 2009, both with several new companies and in existing companies. In the period after the financial crisis, there was a decline from 2009, where the number of employees was reduced as a result of the international effects of the financial crisis and strong recession. From the spring of 2010, the operation at Ruukki Profiler AS ceased. At the beginning of 2012, there is good activity in Mo Industripark, with full production at the smelters Fesil Rana Metall AS, and Vale Manganese Norway AS. At Celsa Armeringsstål AS, there has been reduced operation since the turn of the year 2011-12 due to the turmoil in the European markets. The strong engineering industry in Mo Industripark, with the Miras group and Momek Group, also has reasonably high activity into 2012, and they are experiencing positive development in the markets.
